Job Description:

InGenesis is seeking an IS Technician to work with our client. In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user support at various levels for technical and non-technical staff.
  • Provide first-level support for all enterprise PC hardware components including desktop and enterprise applications.
  • Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree in information systems, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
  • EPIC experience required.

 

Physical Demands:

This position requires:

  • Sitting, walking, and standing are associated with a normal medical/clinical office environment.
  • Regular bending and stretching; and lifting. 
  • Manual dexterity used to include, but not limited to, standard office equipment, and computer keyboard.
  • Traveling to work sites includes some exposure to outside elements.
  • Presenting information in front of a group.
  • Reading and writing in order to review records for accuracy.
