We are seeking a Warehouse Technician responsible for the movement, storage and repair of ice machines and water coolers in our Distribution Center.  In addition, this individual is required to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, representing Quench in a professional manner at all times. This position will report to the Distribution Center Manager. 

Essential Functions  

  • Equipment testing, scrap processing, equipment washing, equipment rebuilding, new equipment preparation, loading and unloading of trucks.   
  • Achievement of productivity metrics required for each assigned activity. 
  • Use Quench ERP system to transact activities. 
  • Follow best practices in maintaining a safe work environment and facility. 
  • Track equipment and parts inventory. 
  • Perform work neatly, effectively, and consistent with established standards of performance.  
  • Regular and reliable attendance  

Qualifications 

  • 2 years of experience repairing equipment, preferably in an industry where both new and refurbished products are processed and maintained.  
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent desired.  Technical certifications and computer experience are a plus. 
  • Experience working in a Six-sigma, lean or operational excellence environment is a plus.  
  • Ability to follow direction. 
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks, staying organized in a fast-moving environment.
