About the Opportunity:

We are currently seeking economist and econometrician candidates for summer fellowships in our Washington, DC office. Summer Fellows are expected to commit 40 hours per week during the summer of 2020. Compensation is consistent with paid summer fellowships at other major economic consulting firms.

Key Responsibilities:

Summer Fellows will be exposed to all phases of case work including:

- Identifying key economic and financial issues - Assisting with the formulation of case strategy - Applying academic research to client issues - Formulating economic and financial models - Conducting empirical studies - Performing quantitative and qualitative research - Working with datasets and programming in statistical software such as SAS, STATA, or MatLab - Collaborating on case teams - Assisting senior staff or academic case experts

Preferred Skills:

Ideal candidates are pursuing PhDs in economics or a related field from an esteemed university and have strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Basic Qualifications:

All candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Relevant academic, government or consulting experience is preferred, not required.
