PRIMARY DUTIES The Manager of Global RE Finance provides the leadership, responsibility, accountability, communication, presentation, and influence required to help the Chief Strategy & Transformation Lead, VP Global Real Estate, Real Estate team in all geographies as well as global Accounting/Finance and FP&A management and staff, Business Segment Controllers, CFO and real estate vendors on all global RE financial management matters. This position requires the experience to manage the RE finance function across a complex set of global, regional and business segment operating unit p/l structures and to continuously improve the programmatic excellence of our FTI Global Real Estate Financial Management Program. They must have expert command over the FTI Chart of Accounts, financial management systems of Elite, FAS, TM1 and Chrome River, ITG Telecom Expense Management System, Excel and the entire Microsoft Office Suite. They must demonstrate the experience needing little or no supervision in their ability to lead and execute a monthly close process for global ITG P/Ls, with a focus on ensuring all adjustments through Accounting are accurate, costs are expensed to the correct G/L accounts, and accurate ITG reporting is completed. This position leads and executes regular monthly, quarterly, annual and adhoc financial reporting with analysis and commentary on any issue with Real Estate financial management, to include multi-year Total Cost of Ownership.
- Lead the Real Estate month end close process, including closing and reconciling subsidiary systems, allocations of corporate costs, recurring journal entries, and related duties.
- Manage Real Estate cost recovery and allocation process. Responsible for monthly reconciliation, timely processing, variance discrepancies and coding verification/updates.
- Lead financial analysis in support of real estate renewal/relocation projects. Align with assigned transaction managers, Colliers brokerage and regional Finance leads as required.
- Manage annual budget and quarterly forecast production and operations management.
- Contribute to and support regular updates to real estate metrics to track cost management performance of the real estate portfolio in accord with established corporate costs targets.
- Assist with the development and coordination of appropriate presentation materials for senior management and the Board of Directors
- Monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Evaluate current reporting, make recommendations and assist with the implementation of changes
- Identify process improvements and system enhancements to simplify and streamline process, be responsive to changing management needs
- Assist with the analysis of corporate and business operating results and development of appropriate commentary for different audiences
- Consolidate monthly segment variance analyses
- Maintain and post the Historical Trends report
- Senior Management presentation support
- Assist with the creation of senior management presentations of corporate/business operating results for Executive Office and Board of Directors' meetings
- Ad HOC duties
- Continuously assess and develop appropriate information for senior management
- Perform analysis of financial results when requested
