About The Opportunity: We are currently looking for a Project Assistant, to join our growing Cybersecurity team. (www.fticybersecurity.com). This role requires strong attention to detail and an interest in working in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
The role entails assisting the Managing Director responsible for global revenue and strategy initiatives of Cybersecurity practice with the following:
• Preparing detailed practice budgets and forecasts
• Developing, tracking, and maintaining practice metrics and KPI's • Drafting proposals, presentations, and fee estimates
• Coordination of internal and external meetings and meeting follow-up
• Conducting market research and analysis • Assisting in development of practice strategy efforts and service offering go-to-market design
• Assisting with coordination of cybersecurity practice and cross-segment initiatives
• Tracking status of project activities to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget, including: understanding client expectations, sharing expectations with staff, monitoring weekly run rate, communicating with the engagement leader and client status of project against target timelines and budget, assessing the need for scope/budget expansion and documenting same with client approval
• Aiding in the management of deliverables including: designing analyses to meet client expectations, anticipating client needs, summarizing findings, and performing quality control to ensure engagement success
• Serve as a liaison across the internal team and clients including prep for client meetings, helping craft reports and presentations for client consumption, and support other client interactions Experience
Required
• Bachelor's degree in economics or business
• 2-3 + years experience working in a professional services environment in a client service, strategy, business development, or equivalent role Desired
• Management and/or strategy consulting or related experience
• Cybersecurity market and products knowledge is a plus
Skills
• Excellent written, verbal, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communications, including active listening.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proactive and initiates projects; enthusiastically accepts new assignments and challenges
• Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and meet deadlines
• Capacity to multi-task, prioritize assignments and effectively manage time • Lead by example regarding efficient work habits and professional behavior

• Willingness to research, analyze and develop new skills.
