About The Opportunity:

FTI Consulting is looking for a Senior Director, Business Development to focus on strategic client relationships in support of professionals in the Forensic & Litigation Consulting (FLC) segment, with a primary focus on Cybersecurity Services. The Senior Director's primary role is to leverage existing client relationships and build new relationships among target clients defined by business and marketing strategies, to generate incremental business.

Primary Duties
  • Serve as a key member of the Cybersecurity team by developing compelling value propositions for clients.
  • Be knowledgeable and speak credibly about the Cybersecurity Practice's services as well as all FLC services, sufficient to recognize and pursue opportunities.
  • Develop, coordinate and assist in pitches, presentations, proposals and responses to RFPs.
  • Introduce ‘best fit' client service professionals to prospective clients and opportunities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing annual goals and budgets as well as an overall strategy toward business development.
  • Work collaboratively with other FLC business developers and client service professionals to coordinate client outreach to leverage existing relationships and optimize "face time" with target clients in law firms, and public and private sectors.
  • Conduct research and analysis on clients, industries, and competitors to help identify industry trends and new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Monitor and advise on industry news and trends, cases, capital markets and economic triggers that may affect clients, prospective clients or specific industries.
  • Network within the industry by recommending and attending conferences and industry events.
  • Utilize the company's Client Relationship Management tool to inform client outreach, and maintain accurate records of client relationships, sales and marketing activity, and pursuits.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, JD a plus.
  • 7+ years of sales experience in cybersecurity, legal, or professional services.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity consulting and/or current cybersecurity products/solutions is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the use of various software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with colleagues.
