About the Opportunity
FTI Health Solutions is seeking an experienced leader with prior/hands on pharmacy experience in cost management, inpatient and outpatient operations, clinical pharmacy practice, research pharmacy and current issues and strategies in pharmacy. The individual must have hands-on responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and directing the transformation of key business processes and strategies. In addition to strong leadership skills, the candidate should possess a track record of successfully performing in and managing high performance, interdisciplinary teams to meet project milestones and achieving measurable performance outcomes.
Primary Duties
The Managing Director is responsible for utilizing their vast operational knowledge to identify and implement solutions for Health Solution's clients. He/she works onsite with our various operational specialists, and supports them by gathering and analyzing purchase order, prescription drug utilization and all other relevant data. This person will lead a team of Consultants to build a targeted Pharmacy process improvement service.
- Build and cultivate client relationships while expanding the FTI Healthcare client portfolio.
- Exhibit personal leadership skill and ability.
- Provide project management and client management expertise as needed.
- Use expertise to extract pertinent data for initiative based analysis.
- Analyze data specific to clinical products for potential savings opportunities.
- Compile data along with information gathered from key interviews to formulate an assessment document.
- Deliver a quality work product within established timeframes.
- Capable of developing rapport and credibility with clients.
- Assist in and in some cases lead efforts to generate revenue and originate new client relationships.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated abilities in developing strong relationships with physicians, clinicians, executives and vendors to facilitate and enhance best business practices related to strategic sourcing and clinical utilization, leading to extensive year over year non-labor supply chain expense reductions.
- Prior consulting experience in a nationally recognized professional services firm preferred.
