Position Overview

We are looking for a Seasonal HR Associate to work with our Human Resource Supervisor, assisting with employee related administrative functions getting involved with training, employment life cycle, policy implementation, employment law compliance, payroll, and benefits administration.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acts as initial point of contact for employee requests and routes them to the appropriate resources.
  • Facilitates employee training including new hire orientations.
  • Assists with planning and executing company sponsored events.
  • Completes the I-9 and E-verify process for new hires.
  • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
  • May gather and compile data for reporting purposes from various sources.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. Maintains records, reports and logs and postings ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Assist with benefits administration and communicating benefits information to employees.
  • Performs payroll related duties as it pertains to timekeeping, PTO, bonuses, etc.


Qualifications
  • 1+ years in a office role working with filing, data verification, and interaction with others
  • Experience in a human resources department is preferred
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work well with others individually as well as in a team.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to commit to full time from July through December


This is a full-time seasonal position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., however, this position may require long hours with occasional evening or weekend work.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear.
