Position Overview
The SVP of Sales will define and lead a strategy for acquiring and expanding enterprise accounts. This position builds successful and scalable relationships with C-level audience in prospect organization. The role will be accountable for a team of sales people providing a structure for the team with specific goals of new accounts and partnering in the expansion of the embedded base with the account operations organization. The SVP leads the development and enhances strategic business partnerships by directing the team to fully engage and building trust with our potential client key decision makers
Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
- Lead sales meetings to review sales forecast, pipeline, key targets, status/updates and key prospects. Holds sales staff accountability for achievement of the same.
- Ensure communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with business development and operational departments.
- Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
- Build, develop and manage sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
- Oversee business development efforts to increase new opportunities and foster key relationships across executives, marketing, operations, and other decision makers to ensure full breadth of Results' portfolio is leveraged to solve customer business opportunities, challenges and issues.
- Assists sales team with identifying new prospect target companies and develops CEO/Senior level relationships to proactively establish new contacts
- Understand customer's business objectives and link solutions to their problems ensuring Results is viewed as a strategic solutions partner to help them meet their goals.
- Develop annual sales plans in support of company strategy and growth objectives.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in revenue target driven roles, leading client relationships, and driving new business.
- 5+ years managing a sales team in BPO or Technology company
- Proven record in negotiating and closing enterprise deals in major corporations.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and solve complex issues.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to present to mixed audiences and varied levels.
- Entrepreneurial-minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed.
- Dynamic, motivating, relationship-driven approach; strong attention to detail.
