Position Overview
The Regional HR Manager performs human resources-related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some, or all, of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment life cycle, policy implementation, performance management, employment law compliance, recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, affirmative action and employment equity programs.
Essential Functions

- Lead an HR team dispersed throughout the U.S. who are responsible for individual or multiple locations.
- Perform audits both remotely and on-site to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
- Respond to escalated employee relation issues such as employee complaints and harassment allegations. Conducts investigations and provides recommendations as to appropriate course of action.
- Manage various vendor relationships ensuring quality service levels, accurate reporting, and successful fulfillment of contractual obligations.
- Develop and mentor direct reports promoting both personal and professional growth.
- Partner with employees and site leadership to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
- Act as a business partner to site leadership in employee development initiatives and performance management.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for continuous improvement in reducing attrition.
- Facilitate training programs as necessary.
- Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
- Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommend new methods, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. Maintain records, reports and logs and postings ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Participate in interviews and selection process to fill entry-level, professional and technical job openings, as necessary.
- Perform benefits administration and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Perform payroll related duties as it pertains to timekeeping, PTO, bonuses, etc.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.
- Five years of experience in human resource generalist or managerial role minimum.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Background in employee relations, employee retention, and performance management.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., however, this position may require long hours with occasional evening or weekend work.
Travel
Travel to various worksites will be required up to 40% of the time
