Position Overview

The Internal Communications Specialist will create strategic communications and manage multiple communication platforms to engage employees across the organization using several channels including RNET, SharePoint, social media, events, newsletters and other communications vehicles.
Working closely with leaders across the organization, this ICS helps to establish our communications strategy and messaging for both employees and candidates for hire.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders in a timely manner utilizing Results brand and organizational "voice" and style. Measure and report on engagement with content.
• Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, newsletter, regular email bulletin, etc.
• Develop and manage content library including employee centric information on SharePoint and make recommendations on new ways to effectively share and manage content.
• Storyboard or translate ideas to the creative team in the Philippines
• Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all channels and mediums and for different departments of the organization
• Responsible for working with senior leaders to develop content for company town halls and other meetings and maintains CEO Blog
• Coordinates communications for Results University programs
• Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation
• Conduct primary and secondary research throughout our sites to ensure a full understanding of our employees, their motivations, and what we can do to improve their experience.
• Working with leaders to create marketing communications around company-wide initiatives, such as Service Excellence, Attendance Policy changes, incentive programs etc.
• Manage internal communications content distribution calendar.
• Help to define and drive our social media strategy and content to communicate with staff internally and to recruit new team members
• Assist with the planning and communicating of company events including our annual customer event, new site grand openings and other special programs/event.
• Works with the Recruiting team to develop and execute recruitment messaging consistent with our employee messaging
• Manages site collateral including branded posters, materials for site incentives, and promotional collateral to insure the integrity of our messaging

Qualifications

Writing skills: You need excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees
Speaking skills: You also need strong speaking skills as you are likely to be called on to give presentations to staff. Internal communications managers need sensitivity to an organization's goals and values and the ability to relay them to employees
Interpersonal skills: You need good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work cross functionally. You also need to possess the confidence to deal with senior executives and explain communication techniques to them. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with various different departments that are located all over the world. You will be working closely with a fully-remote design team and will need to be able to guide them to create materials that are on brand and fit with our new, modern style.
Creative skills: You need the creative ability to devise communication strategies Digital skills: Familiarity with especially digital and video means of communication, is essential.

Physical Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience in Communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Experience with video shooting/editing.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design programs.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office - most importantly PowerPoint
