Essential Job Functions of this Position:
The Senior Data Manager will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
Data Management
- Lead for the digitalization efforts of the program office
- Able to integrate systems
- ePower Administration
- Assist with organizing of data, but has a background in CDRL preparation, review, acceptance and tracking.
- Support the configuration status accounting process.
- This effort includes planning and tracking data preparations, identifying format requirements, controlling data and changes, monitoring submittal schedules and ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Provide for government/contractor electronic exchange of action item tracking, CDRL tracking, and technical documentation.
- Will have the responsibility for addressing long-term storage and retrieval of data and associated program information and planning for digitizing continued need information, as is appropriate and cost-effective.
Configuration Management:
- Will advise management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducts special studies, proposes options and alternatives, and represents the office.
- Provide configuration and data management technical and programmatic guidance to ensure execution within the program approved budget, schedule and performance.
- Coordinate with Government personnel the review and approval/disapproval of contractor submitted documentation
- Develop and implement a plan for transition of the Configuration Control from the prime contractor to the Government to include the development of applicable technical and administrative processes necessary for identifying, documenting, controlling, and updating the functional, allocated, and product baselines of all PMA-281 products, including the oversight, monitoring and review of all Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) associated with these items.
- Responsible for the coordination of review/approval of all configuration changes, coordinating the logistics and engineering review of changes; reviewing and assessing the in-service impacts of ECPs; reviewing contract modifications for ECPs to ensure accuracy and completeness; tracking the production implementation of approved ECPs.
Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
Master's degree in Business, Management, or related technical discipline and ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, related to configuration management and data management. Bachelor's degree and fifteen (15) years of experience OR high school diploma or GED and twenty (20) years of experience may substitute in lieu of the degree requirement. A SharePoint Administrator is preferred, familiar with SharePoint is required.
Must have an active Secret security clearance.
