The Marketing & Events Coordinator Intern will support brand awareness, marketing operations, and event execution across the Precision Medicine Group businesses. This internship offers hands-on experience in marketing, events, and life sciences communications—ideal for a student interested in gaining exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced industry.
Role Details
Fully remote position for U.S.-based candidates

6-month internship
Approximately 15 hours per week (flexible around academic schedule)
Essential Responsibilities
Marketing Activities & Communications
Assist in executing internal and external communications.
Support coordination between business leads, creative teams, and content teams.
Maintain and update marketing calendars, event schedules, and shared project trackers.
Support social media efforts (drafting, scheduling, editing, and approval processes).
Assist in distributing new marketing resources such as white papers, case studies, and video content.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail when reviewing marketing materials.
Event Coordination
Support conference and event logistics, including registrations, promotional materials, tech platform setup, and scheduling.
Assist with planning and executing virtual and in-person events (conferences, webinars, trainings, and more).
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless preparation.
Help prepare, organize, and ship event collateral and branded materials.
Support additional event activities such as networking events or hosted receptions.
Provide reliable day-of-event assistance and be proactive when addressing real-time needs.
Lead Generation, Reporting & Metrics
Assist with capturing and tracking leads from events.
Support the Business Development and Sales teams with post-event follow-up.
Help compile event performance summaries, CRM updates, and website/metrics reporting.
Use Excel to organize and analyze data related to event ROI and engagement.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Strong interest in events, marketing, and the life sciences industry.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with social media platforms and interest in learning additional marketing tools (WordPress, HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva).
Comfortable using virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
