InGenesis is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to work with our client. In this role, you will support the creation of approximately 55 high-quality video deliverables and collaborate with the CLI content team and supervising manager to ensure all videos meet branding, accessibility, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit video project files using FinalCut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Premiere Pro (software to be provided by CLI if needed).
- Work from raw footage provided via hard drive and collaborate through MS Teams and SharePoint.
- Upload daily XML files of edited content for CLI access and future editing.
- Attend weekly meetings with the supervising manager and provide daily updates via tracking spreadsheet.
- Communicate with the CLI content team through email, MS Teams, phone, and virtual meetings to incorporate feedback.
- Complete video edits within 3 business days of receiving feedback.
Editing Tasks Include:
- Accurate clip selection based on timestamps.
- Audio cleanup and leveling.
- Color correction.
- Assembly of video templates following CLI branding/styling guidelines.
- On-screen annotations, still photos, b-roll, motion graphics, and other visuals.
- HD quality production.
- Proofreading and review of edits before submission.
- Creation and editing of:
- Closed captioning (ADA & WCAG compliant)
- Audio descriptions (ADA & WCAG compliant)
- Transcripts (ADA & WCAG compliant)
Deliverables:
- Submit files and share video links via MS Teams with CLI content team members (e.g., Jocelyn McConnell, Veronica Delgado, Shauna Spear).
- Maintain a log of editing dates, video names, and hours worked.
- Include a brief summary of edited videos in weekly timesheet notes submitted to InGenesis.
- Return CLI-purchased hard drive with all working and final project files upon project completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and ability to collaborate on Spanish-language video content with Spanish-speaking team members.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as FinalCut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Premiere Pro.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
