Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking a Regulatory Analyst to work with our client. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring regulatory compliance of lease provisions on University Landsmineral leases, maintaining well records pertinent to determining the validity of each lease and offering customer support for the filing of required regulatory documents. Daily correspondence with the operators on University Lands is necessary to ensure data compliance.

Essential Functions:
  • Collect, analyze, and enter data received from the operators regarding well permitting, drilling and completion of wells, operator changes, consolidations, sub-divisions, down-hole commingles, etc. (RRC forms).
  • Monitor Regulatory compliance of oil and gas operators on University Lands acreage.
  • Work with operators to ensure University Landswell records are current and complete.
  • Create penalty invoices for Regulatory non-compliance.
  • Provide Industry education and assistance in reference to University Landsdata requirements and use of public website.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree. Each year of right of way, land, title, or oil and gas land experience may substitute for one year of college (30 semester hours) up to a maximum of four years.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Texas Oil and Gas Regulatory forms is preferred
  • Experience working with the Texas Railroad Commission is preferred.
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of University Lands
