InGenesis has a unique opportunity available for a part time Occupational Health Nurse to join our client located in O'Fallon, MO! As the Occupational Health Nurse, you'll work independently to observe and assess individuals' health status with respect to various job tasks and hazards. Using your specialized experience and education, you'll help recognize and prevent health effects from hazardous exposures and treat workers' injuries and illnesses. You'll also work together with company leadership to develop innovative health and safety programs for all working environments. Job Duties
- Administer first aid and CPR in the event of medical emergencies
- Provide initial assessment of on-the-job injuries or non-occupational illnesses and refer for further evaluation as necessary
- Coordination of administrative and medical case management for workers' compensation/injury management or non-occupational disability programs inclusive of first report of injury, coordination of medical care, case follow up, liaison with internal staff/external health care providers and insurance administrators.
- Coordinate health promotion/wellness programs such as the flu shot, lunch and learn programs, and other wellness programs.
MinimumQualifications
- Active Registered Nurse License (RN)
- Three years nursing experience in Occupational Health or Emergency Nursing
- 1 year case management experience
- Current CPR certification
