InGenesis is currently seekingRegistered Nurseswith our client located in Coralville, Iowafor theevening shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm- M-F, every other weekend.In this role, you will perform nursing responsibilities ranging from entry-level to journey-level that require a valid RN license.

As anRN, the job duties will be to provide professional nursing care and treatment to patients by conducting needs assessments, developing, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans, and providing patient care and education through case management.Nurse assessment of incarcerated individuals. Fort Dodge Correctional Facility is a state correctional facility. Strict security practices are necessary. Safety training and Security procedures/practices will be provided by FDCF
- The scope of services involves all aspects of professional nursing care.
- Applies knowledge of principles and practices of professional registered nursing care acquired through formal education and training.
- Contacts are made with patients, medical support staff, supervisory nurses, and physicians in the provision of professional nursing care.
- Impacts the quality of patient care.
- Successful in the application of skills to enhance positive medical outcomes.
- Receives guidance and direction from a nursing supervisor, manager, medical professional, or administrator.
- Develops total patient assessments, which require considerable judgment and decision-making.
- Provides leadership to LPNs and other medical direct service support staff.
- Requires frequent use of discretion and judgment in patient assessment and case management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Iowa
- Current immunizations.
- Current BLS certification.
