InGenesis is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate PreOp/PACU-RN III to work with our client. In this role, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting the professional development of your peers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert-level nursing care to a diverse patient population.
- Lead and mentor staff in clinical and professional practice.
- Serve as a charge nurse and clinical resource as needed.
- Facilitate patient and family-centered care planning and education.
- Promote a healthy work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety practices.
- Support unit operations, throughput, and financial efficiency.
- Participate in shared governance and unit-based projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current Texas RN license or Compact State RN license; or Temporary Texas RN License (must obtain permanent license within 90 days of hire).
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS certification (within 7 days of hire).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
Required Skills
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
- Effective verbal, nonverbal, and written communication.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and coach staff.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex patient care and emergency situations.
