InGenesis is currently seeking a School Psychologist to work with our client.In this role, you will provide school psychological services on-site to our patient population.

Job Duties
- Conducts individual and group counseling/psychotherapy.
- Follows up on treatment and writes progress reports.
- Performs psychological evaluations and/or court-ordered forensic evaluations.
- Diffuses and de-escalates issues and role models positive behaviors.
- Assesses inmates to identify, prevent, or contain significant lethality risks for imminent harm to self or others.
- Coordinates services between institution mental health services and local community mental health service providers.
- Completes re-entry accountability plans and conducts home visits to adult parole authority offenders.
- Provides specialized therapies and psycho-educational classes.
- Recommends policies and procedures for patient assessment, evaluation, and treatment.
- Evaluates defendant/patient for mental status and competency to stand trial or sanity at the time of the offense.
- Writes comprehensive forensic reports and recommendations for courts.
- Responds to subpoenas and appears in court as an expert witness on forensic/psychological matters.
- Acts as liaison for offenders with a treatment team, rules infraction boards, parole boards, and unit management staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current license to practice psychology as issued by the State Board of Psychology.
- Biennial renewal of licensure as a psychologist.
- Proven experience working with adolescents is required.
- Current CPR and first aid certification.
- Experience with adolescent and/or juvenile offender populations is preferred.
- Experience working in public school districts as a School Psychologist is preferred.
