JOB PURPOSE
Lead the team and manage all core project and operational activities for corporate and subsidiary SAP systems, overseeing everything from release planning and execution to ongoing support. Play an integral role in shaping the IT leadership's strategic plan as a key member of the management team. Take ownership of the SAP North America ERP landscape, currently including both SAP ECC and S4 Public Cloud, with the opportunity to lead and participate in transformative initiatives as we advance our technical landscape. Collaborate with Marketing, Service, Finance, Sales, and Operations to develop a shared roadmap. Engage in IT and technology roadmap discussions within the division and with peers across other Topcon divisions. Actively participate in industry forums and Product Advisory Councils where appropriate.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Build shared strategic process and systems roadmaps across key business areas
- Lead core ERP operational activities, including monthly and quarterly release planning and execution
- Build and execute QA and testing plan, driving automation where possible
- Develop joint plan with infrastructure to maintain up to date patching, security and system notes where applicable
- Provide management and leadership to functional ERP domain experts, including skills and career development
- As appropriate, lead Incident/Problem Management activities as they occur
- Participate in IT management and leadership initiatives as required, usually 1 - 2 strategic change initiatives/year
- Liaise with key business leaders on process and change priorities for major functional areas such as Sales Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, NPI, etc.
- Must be able to manage a diverse team, both onsite and remote.
Education & Experience
- BS in technical field, MS preferred
- 5-10 years of people management experience
- Strong SAP techno-functional experience, including participating and/or leading multiple sizeable functional implementations
- 5+ years Vendor management including support services and managing to SLAs and KPIs
- International/Global experience is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years' experience with SAP implementations (ECC, S4/Hana, BW)
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Coaching, mentoring and performance management
- Experience in one or more functional areas of SAP (SD, FICO, WM, etc.) is a plus.
- PMP or ITIL certification preferred
- Intimate familiarity with all aspects of an SAP implementation project; Blueprint phase, architecture, configuration, testing, training and go-live
- Ability to resolve complex problems as they arise during the implementation with minimal impact to schedule and project scope.
- Excellent Communication, listening and speaking skills, written and verbal at all levels
- Excellent business judgment on risk, planning and key decisions required
- Ability to develop strategies, plans, portfolio sequencing and budgets to drive change
Base Pay :
Expected Base Pay Range: $170,000 to $220,000 Annualized
The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
In addition to base pay, compensation for this position includes eligibility for certain Bonuses.
