The Sr. Director, New Market Strategies will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and commercializing new market opportunities for the enterprise. This role will require a deep understanding of emerging business dynamics associated with starting, optimizing, and leading businesses ranging from one to thousands of employees. The Director will work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for entering new markets, driving revenue growth, and strengthening the company's market position.
Responsibilities
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, identify potential new markets, and assess competitive landscape
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for new market expansion.
- Financial Modeling: Create financial models to evaluate the profitability and potential return on investment of new market opportunities. Identify total addressable market, assess opportunity for revenue and earnings growth and, determine build/buy/partner options to position for release into test phase.
- Commercialization: Track, measure and consistently adjust go to market deliverables to maximize the financial returns of new market initiatives.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of business development professionals responsible for driving new market growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Marketing or related field - Required
- 10+ years of experience in Experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the human capital management industry.
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $200,000 - $275,000. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
