Serves as a point of contact for clients seeking expert guidance on employee benefit programs. This role is designed to provide comprehensive support and assistance to clients and service partners by facilitating a clear understanding of benefit renewals. This role will navigate the complexities with benefit selections, plan comparisons, contribution strategy, and plan options. Through excellent consultative customer service, the goal is to drive increased participation in MPP plans, improve client retention and support the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities
- Builds partnerships with Enterprise Relationship Managers, Human Resource Professionals, Benefit Specialty Group, Benefit Service team, Client Advocates, Underwriting, Paychex Insurance Agency, and other key stakeholders who are critical in the renewal, quotes, and servicing of medical benefits for PEO clients.
- Is a subject matter expert on all PEO master plans, open market options, and the onboarding requirements for both options.
- Conducts scheduled calls to review retention achievement.
- Analyzes and reviews benefit strategy with clients and partners, presents renewal and/or comparisons, and makes plan recommendations.
- Actively works with key stakeholders to drive increased participation in MPP throughout the year as PIA renewals or opportunity is available
- Conducts follow up with clients until final decision is made (both open market and master candidates).
- Maintains an active Life and Health license in resident state and non-resident licenses in assigned states within territory.
- Expedites the resolution of client problems or complaints during renewal to ensure client satisfaction and that issues are handled properly.
- Conducts training for HRPB's and CSO's to help support master plan benefit renewals.
- Presents benefit changes and new products during the annual Benefits Conference in preparation for Annual Enrollment season; assist when needed with open market solutions to Tier 3 and 4 clients.
- Expertise in ClientSpace, SalesForce, and Flex/ Prism system requirements.
- Attend Enterprise renewal meetings with HRBP and other key stakeholders as needed to support.
- Completes and submits accurate business reporting by agreed upon dates set by Management to ensure information is provided timely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
- 5 years of experience in Health insurance or PEO experience in sales, benefits, service or agency.

- Relevant Insurance License This role requires you to be eligible for applicable insurance licensing in all 50 states, which may involve an enhanced background check. If you are not currently licensed, you will be required to obtain the necessary insurance license(s) within 90 calendar days of your official start date. Failure to obtain the required license(s) within 90 days of your start date and to maintain eligibility throughout the duration of your employment may result in corrective action, up to and including termination of employment. Paychex Insurance Agency, Inc. (PIA) will cover the cost of up to two (2) attempts to pass a state insurance licensing exam including exam materials and testing fee. The cost of any additional attempts will be at the expense of the individual employee. If an individual is hired by PIA with an active and current license(s), that employee will be responsible for the timely updating and/or verifying of any changes that may have occurred with their state license(s) prior to their start date at PIA. Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $80.710.00 - $115,300.00 salary, Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
