Vice President, Healthcare Sector (Low-Voltage)

Overview

The Vice President, Healthcare sector is a strategic, cross-functional leader responsible for building and managing the strategic direction of Vision's Healthcare Sector. This role oversees the sector's financials, delivery of solutions and services, and program management teams. The Vice President is accountable for developing and implementing strategic direction, partnering with internal technology experts to build service offerings, delivering operational excellence aligned with industry best practices, and working with the sector sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various healthcare facilities and IT systems including networking, audio visual, electronic security, DAS, and infrastructure. Further, they will have a proven track record of leadership, project management, and the ability to build strategic partnerships and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute strategic plans for the Sector
    • Lead the team in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets
    • Work with the sales team to identify and pursue new market opportunities, including organic growth with existing customers by building and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy
    • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and key stakeholders
  • Financial Management:
    • Own the sector's P&L, responsible for top and bottom-line performance
    • Conduct regular financial reviews and ensure budget compliance
    • Monitor and control project, program, and contract costs, driving efficiencies where possible
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure successful project delivery, meeting scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
    • Implement and maintain effective processes for customer engagement, service delivery, and issue resolution
    • Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and create development plans for team members
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, especially for high-level engagements
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain strong business relationships
    • Understanding of channel partner relationships, incentive programs, and marketing/training goals.
  • Quality and Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations
    • Oversee the delivery of customer-specific service level agreements
    • Implement quality control measures and best practices across the Sector

Qualifications

  • Required
    • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
    • 10+ years of experience with systems integration, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
    • Proven track record of P&L responsibility and driving business growth
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
    • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
    • Deep understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Desired
    • Experience and understanding of the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) and Survey of Healthcare Experiences of Patients (SHEP) assessments.
    • Experience applying integrated technology solutions that improve HCAHPS/SHEP results with measurable data.
    • Understanding of construction and operational site conditions in a healthcare environment.
    • Understanding of pain points and solution sets specific to the health care vertical.
