Vision Technologies is looking for an Infor System Administrator to join our team with a strong technical background and passion for the Infor CloudSuite Engineering and Construction ERP. As an integral member of the Information Systems team, the System Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and improvement of our Infor products, as well as helping to develop the software. We are looking for people who are detail and process orientated, who innovate, and have an aptitude for learning, and love solving hard problems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the ERP system, including system configuration, performance, and communication/training.
- Administer our Infor ERP products- Infor OS, CPQ, Factory Track, BIRST/LNA and other supporting programs
- Drive continuity across and refresh our cloud environments- production, test, and train
- Monitor & maintain integration between the ERP and our third-party systems
- Monitor & maintain integration between the web UI and mobile apps of VISIBL
- Create and maintain system architecture and configuration technical documentation
- Manage user access roles and permissions via the Dynamic Enterprise Modeler (DEM) and Authorization Management System (AMS)
- Audit system performance and transaction log/ tracing and put forth recommendations for improvement
- Create and manage automated jobs based on Vision's organizational requirements such as scheduling jobs at non-peak hours or schedule jobs to start processes periodically, at defined intervals, or immediately.
- Create and manage APIs, monitors, and connection points across companies and environments
- Coordinate certificate renewals for Infor OS/Infor Application
- Configuration and maintenance of Infor Document Management (IDM)
- Work to improve the systems and processes currently in place by researching and analyzing the current environment and put forth recommendations and products to improve the overall environment
- Liaise and manage Vision's 3 rd Party LN integrators and partners
Development Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordination and writing of business resource documents (BRD)
- Support the team's development and coding efforts of RICEFWs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows)
- Contribute to Vision's configuration management and change management process and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent; or six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3+ years of Infor ERP administration
- Demonstrates knowledge of Infor LN Tools administration, architecture, and databases with hands-on technical experience in Infor CloudSuite Engineering and Construction ERP applications like ION, IDM, Factory Track, LN Analytics, BIRST, etc. Candidates with other Infor platform administration experience may also be considered
- Ability to troubleshoot, provide solutions, and suggest best practices within our Infor ERP environments
- Demonstrates analytical skills with excellent data collection and analysis in performing root cause analysis.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, understanding priorities and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment is critical
- Ability to think abstractly and deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems
- Demonstrates technical documentation, verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science / MIS / business administration or a related discipline
- Working knowledge of the Windows server operating system and SQL Server databases
- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems
- Extensive object-oriented design and coding skills
- Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and databases
