About the Role:
The role requires a motivated and adaptable individual to support the President of Global Sites as Chief of Staff (CoS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the President's capacity to lead the company effectively by managing workflows, ensuring strategic alignment, facilitating communication, and driving critical initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the President's directives and policies are implemented across the company with high efficiency and effectiveness.
What You Will Do:
- Assist the President in developing long-term strategies and provide analytical support to evaluate new initiatives and projects. Translate strategic vision into actionable, measurable objectives.
- Oversee and refine policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the President's vision. This requires coordinating across departments to streamline processes and enhance both efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a communication bridge between the President and other executives, department heads, and external parties. This includes preparing and disseminating briefings, managing internal communications, and ensuring that key messages are consistently shared across the company.
- Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the executive to facilitate efficient decision-making. This will involve setting agendas for meetings, ensuring the President is briefed on topics to be discussed, and following up on meeting outcomes.
- Serving as an advisor to the President, providing insights and feedback from within and outside the organization. The CoS will also represent the President in certain scenarios, acting on their behalf when required.
- Assist in managing crises, including sudden operational, financial, or reputational challenges, by coordinating the company's response and ensuring consistent messaging.
- Act as a confidante and advisor. The CoS will provide the President with honest feedback and counsel on a wide range of issues, supporting decision-making processes.
What You Need
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum five years of relevant experience.
Ability to understand and facilitate strategic planning and execution of critical initiatives.
Understand significance of KPI's and metrics and use them to identify problems and opportunities.
Ability to foster collaboration, and teamwork among different sites and functions.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
High level of professional integrity and judgement.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access).
This position requires on-site presence at Spellman High Voltage headquarters in Hauppauge, NY. Some travel may be required.
Our good faith estimates of the salary range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a highly competitive benefits package.
