This position will provide on-site and remote technical support for a large group of clients who are supported by our dedicated service department. This person will provide a wide range of customer support services surrounding the operation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Audio Visual & Videoconferencing systems.

Responsibilities
Principal responsibilities and duties, but not all-inclusive, include the following. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including working in other functional areas to cover absences or relief to balance workloads.
Troubleshooting system problems reported by users and repairs
• Manage customer generated Help Desk tickets and respond to end user requests
• Responsible for escalating and tracking all "next level" break fix issues for resolution
• Supporting and assist with facilitating large presentations in classrooms or auditoriums
• Inventory management of spare systems and service inventory
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to install AV systems (display, wall plate, VTC codec, camera, cable routing, and testing)
• Demonstrated proficiency managing service ticketing system, respond and close out tickets ahead of SLA requirements. Track and log all service activity in ticketing system
• Ability to operate and demonstrate system capabilities to end users for optimal performance during presentations and VTC calls
• Perform Quality Assurance testing and generate documentation on results
• Able to configure standard system components to client requirements
• Able to work independently for AV testing and troubleshooting
• Proficient in loading and testing control system code and DSP programming
• Ability to interpret AV CAD drawings and update with Red Lines. AutoCAD experience is a plus
• Perform site surveys, inventory, and create as built document for installed systems
Education: HS Degree required
Technical School Certification or Community College (preferred)
Years of Experience: 5+ years of AV installation, system operation, and maintenance
Security Clearance: US Citizenship. Ability to obtain a Public Trust or DOD clearance is a plus, but not required.
