Essential Job Functions of this Position:
The Intelligence SME will provide an in-depth understanding of the operational intelligence domain for applying air power. The SME will provide intelligence expertise necessary to effectively coordinate, plan, and lead the execution of Large Force Employment DMO missions. The expertise provided will provide in-depth mission detail which allows the warfighters to execute missions with minimal input; thereby maximizing training effectiveness. This position requires a comprehensive working knowledge of intelligence support operations, procedures, and practices.
Additionally, this SME may be required to assist the DTC Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in all aspects of security at the ACC DTC located at Langley, AFB (with direction and/or support from the Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) as well as the Northrop Grumman DMT O&I Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO), and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
Additional duties may include:
Candidate may provide consulting expertise to military and/or defense clients to develop and evaluate military training and doctrine. Candidate may provide specialized planning and/or execution expertise in specialized phases of military training exercises--including doctrinal development, scenario development, and after-action review and analysis.
SHIFT OPERATIONS: Distributed Training Center employees may be required to support operations outside of normal duty hours.
Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of USAF or Navy Operational Intelligence experience is required. Three (3) years of USAF or Navy Unit Level Intelligence experience in USAF fighter or bomber; or Navy TACAIR MDS is required. Must have expertise with intelligence systems, order of battle maintenance, mission planning, threat analysis, and GI&S support. Expertise on operational intelligence related subjects to include worldwide surface-to-air missile (SAM), air-to-air missile (AAM), anti-aircraft artillery (AAA), aircraft capabilities and employment is required. Must have experience with Combat Air Forces DMO exercises and simulations.
Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
