Systems Security Engineer/Anti-Tamper Analyst

Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our premier team; Systems Security Engineer/Anti-Tamper Analyst. This position provides program analysis expertise for an ACAT 1 NAVAIR program that is driving requirements definition, resource allocation, acquisition and logistics support for TACAIR and/or UAV platform. The right team member will become part of a long standing, well respected and growing team with a history of leveraging experience and developing newcomers to defense acquisition at Patuxent River NAS.

Essential Job Functions of this Position:
  • Support of implementing Anti-Tamper (AT) on TACAIR platforms, FMS, DCS and international cooperative programs.
  • Apply systems engineering process through performance specifications development, system integration, test, verification, and fielding.
  • Support system engineering team through System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) process including reviewing, coordination and tracking of AT plans/documents.
  • Review and prepare system engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • Support the identification of Critical Program Information (CPI) / Critical Technology (CT) on TACAIR platforms using the DoN CPI Work Breakdown Structure Development Tool and DoDI S-5230.28.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on HW/SW development process and industry best practices
  • Travel as required to support customer requirements

Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and at least three (3) years of demonstrated experience with the systems engineering technical review process in support of military programs and major weapon system development and acquisition is required. Knowledge and experience in NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review process is highly desired. Knowledge and experience working with the Anit-Tamper Executive Agent and their processes is highly desired. The right candidate should also possess written and oral communication skills commensurate with a technical and facilitator role and MS Office Suite skills.

An active Top-Secret security clearance is desired. An active Secret clearance with Top-Secret eligibility may be considered for otherwise well qualified candidates.
