INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER

Plan, design and build security architectures for company, which includes overseeing the implementation of network and computer security and ensuring compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and procedures. Monitor cybersecurity requirements for Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related network devices. Perform security assessments of applications and systems using penetration and vulnerability testing and risk analysis, including configuring and installing firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Implement software fixes (patches) to remove system vulnerabilities and respond immediately to cybersecurity-related incidents and provide a thorough post-event analysis. Investigate intrusion incidents and conduct forensic investigations using knowledge of security tools, systems and services, including firewalls, logging and SIEM, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, Host and Network IDS, etc. Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of organization's suite of information security tools, processes, policies, controls, and best practices necessary to effectively prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from security threats in company's internal, SaaS and networked environments to ensure service integrity and data protection/privacy. Work with all internal stakeholders that includes IT and Engineering/Development teams to maintain compliance with security controls and policies and to achieve an outstanding level of security in company's internal infrastructure and SaaS products/environments throughout their lifecycle. Identify and complete security engineering projects to research, acquire, test, and deploy innovative IT-based security tools and services relevant to securing On-Prem Cloud technology environments and applications, utilizing experience securing cloud environments. Define and implement relevant security policies and controls and ensure proper compliance using knowledge of virtualization technologies. Implement and maintain effective identity and access management structures and will be responsible for the ongoing vulnerability management in partnership with IT, which will include the development and operations teams. Help manage cryptography and encryption of data, coordinate and conduct penetration tests, provide security recommendations related to microservices and secure application design, assist in achieving and maintaining industry security audit certifications (ISO and HIPAA), establish and maintain appropriate security logging, event correlation and threat detection mechanisms, and perform threat analysis, forensics, and remediation in response to security incidents.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering and three (3) years of experience in job offered or three (3) years of IT and Network engineering experience. Or in alternative, will accept five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of IT and Network engineering experience.

Salary: $183,350 per year
