Job Purpose:
- Transfer and Transport finished good product from production to Warehouse or Service to meet daily shipments.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by cycle counts and ensuring correct transactions are completed.
- Maintain production Master Data/Routing to ensure accurate transactions.
- Support cross functional team with materials and product as required to meet current activities.
- Assist production on final Inspection or final assembly process.
- Maintain production office supply.
- Assist special project across operation.
Core Job Duties
- Look up Transfer order numbers in SAP and Transport finished good product out of production to Warehouse, Service to meet daily shipments.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by cycle counts and ensuring correct transactions are completed. Perform system correction and communicated with proper departments.
- Maintain production Master Data/Routing to ensure accurate transaction are set up for production environments.
- Maintain daily MRB process.
- Organize production office supply and maintain Inventory on chemical log.
- Follow up on vendor order/invoice process.
- Update training records & training Metrix. Research and correct any production order error.
- Support cross functional project like NPI on inventory put away.
- Assist production planning by creating production rework orders.
- Follow up action item on Purge notice and ECO release.
- Trouble shooting production order issues and make correction.
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate degree
- Some college education a plus.
- Skilled experience using ERP systems, (experience with SAP is a significant plus).
- 2-4-year work at a team environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
- Math skills including percentages, fractions, multiplication, and division. Strong MS skill preferred.
- Ability to communicate status and issues effectively, both verbally and digitally using email programs, ERP systems or other tools (excel).
- Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and interact effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure efficient operation of duties.
- Ability to create reports using word, excel, chart, V-look up.
- Physical Requirements:
- Position required bending, carrying, kneeling, lifting and pushing carts.
- Moving rolling cart with loaded Materials
- Must be able to lift to 30lbs.
- Some overtime required.
Working Conditions:
- Proper lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Place Material on shelf above shoulder level.
- Some sitting position with some walking activities.
- Materials Management experience a significant plus.
The base pay range$25-28/hr is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
