In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Work with engineering team to perform verification tests for a new Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) receiver currently in development.
- Understand new product requirement definitions and how verification testing is used to confirm adherence to requirements.
- Analyze test results from computer logs, oscilloscope measurements, thermocouple recordings, environmental chambers, and vibration table.
- Opportunity to write code and scripts to configure and collect data from the receiver.
- Communicate findings by preparing concise reports and posting comments to project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Time permitting, another opportunity may be available to design test hardware and develop Arduino software for a rotating laser simulator.
The ideal candidate for this position will bring a combination of the following skills and qualifications:
- College sophomore or above in an Engineering program.
- Strong positive attitude towards starting projects from scratch while working in a non-structured working environment.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
The Base pay rate is $25.00 per hour for this summer internship.
