Position Overview: The Mergers & Acquisition Integrations Analyst plays a key role in the execution of Quench's acquisition strategy, which involves integrating acquired companies concurrent with closing, a significant competitive advantage for Quench. The integration team works with the owner(s) of a target company in advance of closing to understand their business, focusing on differences from Quench's business and on any unique customer requirements that could impact billing or service. The Mergers & Acquisition Integrations Analyst is responsible for the development and refinement of a critical data file (called the "flat file") that captures all the target company's data necessary to allow Quench to bill and service acquired customers upon integration. The Mergers & Acquisition Integrations Analyst supports the Senior Manager of Corporate Development in developing the playbook for integrating acquired businesses into the Quench platform and coordinates the implementation with the cross-functional leaders of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Help M&A team achieve its acquired EBITDA targets:
- Communicate with the target company owner(s) to understand their business processes, systems, and data, identifying key risk areas.
- Collaborate with the target company to obtain and prepare their data for due diligence analyses and ingestion into Quench's ERP system.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies based on red flags.
- Help acquisitions yield targeted investment returns:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address integration challenges identified during due diligence.
- Develop key post-close reporting to monitor deal-specific metrics and ensure smooth customer onboarding.
- Demonstrate strong corporate citizenship.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of professional experience, including:
- At least 2+ years of data analysis and expertise using Excel; including familiarity with data queries, pivot tables, and advanced functions / formulas.
- Experience with data integration or software implementation projects.
- Experience with SQL and Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience with Salesforce.com and QuickBooks.
- Experience with M&A integrations is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent project management skills and ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously, staying organized in a results-driven, fast-moving environment.
- Willingness to travel, work late hours, and work on weekends when necessary to meet deadlines.
