About the Role

The Supply Chain Manager NPI (New Product Introduction) is crucial in harmonizing product development with strategic sourcing initiatives. This role demands active involvement in market analysis, securing beneficial sourcing deals for both new and existing products, and establishing objectives for sourcing categories that align with program demands. The Supply Chain Manager NPI will bridge the gap between the company's product roadmaps and the capabilities of suppliers, implementing sourcing strategies grounded in thorough market and supplier evaluations. They are instrumental in achieving consensus among stakeholders on supplier choices, overseeing the sourcing process from initial concept to full-scale production, and championing the early involvement of suppliers to enhance cost efficiency and product quality. Moreover, the Suply Change Manager NPI will proactively interact with suppliers and industry groups to stay informed on current trends, updates commodity teams on supplier changes, and orchestrate supply chain management efforts to guarantee strategic and effective project completion. The ideal candidate will possess significant leadership experience in Supply Chain management, especially in NPI contexts, demonstrating proficiency in handling complex projects, leading teams, and fostering collaboration across different departments to ensure project triumph.

What You Will Do:
  • Act as the primary representative and owner of all project details and activities related to the Supply Chain organization within cross-functional NPI teams.
  • Lead initial meetings with internal procurement stakeholders to outline project goals and key deliverables such as schedule, cost, and resources.
  • Ensure the sourcing of new components aligns with category strategies and business objectives.
  • Conduct and oversee key supplier meetings, ensuring effective tracking of NPI project goals.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers, Distributors, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to create and lead an Obsolescence Management Process.
  • Manage sourcing activities for assigned projects to optimize supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery, including order placement.
  • Regularly document and communicate project status to leadership, including action plans and timelines for assigned projects.
  • Direct and support tactical buyers and quality engineers to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Undertake other duties as needed, which may include the development, implementation, and maintenance of Supply Chain Documentation and managing the Product Transfer Process between facilities.


What You Need:
  • Minimum 10 years in Supply Chain management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Direct experience in electronics assembly and new product introductions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and a solid understanding of BOMs and engineering requirements for production.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and strong team-building skills.


Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $109,380 - $152,360. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive and highly competitive benefits package.

This position doesn't require on-site presence and could be fully remote.
