Essential Job Functions of this Position:
- Develops expertise with assigned administrative systems, to include Defense Travel System (DTS), NAVAIR's BASICS II database and the DOD's Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), as required
- Works with appropriate staff to create customer travel requests in DTS, send and/or accept visit requests and completes processing of travel vouchers for final reconciliation
- Responds to routine telephone requests which have standard answers; refers calls and visitors to appropriate staff
- Controls mail and assures timely staff response; sends form letters; arranges for meeting rooms; reviews materials prepared for Government supervisor's approval for typographical accuracy and proper format
- Maintains recurring internal reports, such as time and leave records, office equipment listings, correspondence controls, and training plans
- Requisitions supplies, printing maintenance, or other services
- Types, establishes and maintains office files
- Carries out recurring office procedures independently; Selects the guideline or reference which fits the specific case
Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
A HS Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relatable experience in a professional setting is required. Excellent MS Office suite skills and motivation are a must.
An active SECRET clearance is desired
