FACTORY QUALITY MANAGER

Help supervise overall activities related to company's production quality and incoming and outgoing quality control processes for organization's agriculture and construction business lines and products using experience with manufacturing and quality control environments. Define, interpret, and classify quality characteristics for new products and processes using ISO standards (9001, 16949). Follow daily production meetings that might trigger actions needed due to purges, poor quality at incoming quality or poor quality at outgoing quality by coordinating and syncing with supply chain, manufacturing engineering and production teams that assist with the fundamental functions for running operations smoothly. Organize, lead and participate in daily meetings with cross functional teams in order to understand needs, priorities, new directions, etc. Ensure early supplier collaboration on design for manufacturability and assembly as well as to ensure costs and budget restraints are met. Support optimizations needed in the management of equipment calibration and support strategically related projects identified in keeping the manufacturing efforts of company competitive, such as automation using knowledge of quality platforms, statistics, quality tools, databases, analytics, quality systems, etc. Lead continuous efforts to automate repetitive tasks in Quality Control, such as cosmetic inspections and lead continuous efforts to transfer upstream to suppliers regarding the need of inspections with go-no-go gauges and other methods to mitigate the need to actually measure parts at suppliers and at IQC within multinational company. Utilize problem solving tools (8-D methodology, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.) to facilitate continuous improvement activities that positively impact external and internal customer satisfaction (DPPM, Warranty, Scrap, First Pass Yield, etc.). Incorporate Machine Learning systems into Quality Control group to leverage human inspection by designing algorithms that enhance data recording, categorization, analysis, and decision making. Design 3D printed gauges to control limit samples at vendor's sites and increase organization's product lines accuracy by using closer-to-nominal dimensions products.
