About The Role
In this newly formed position, you will lead, develop, and plan finished goods and assemblies through the SIOP process, and link to the production cycle. Working with leadership and across functions, you will drive SIOP maturity to world class status- ensuring customer On Time Delivery (OTD) above 95%. In this highly visible, global, and transformative role, you can expect to:
- Develop and deploy cross functional SIOP/IBP maturity models, RACI, and SIPOC tools with demonstrated results.
- Evaluate and report potential problems with root cause and corrective action
- Train and develop demand planning and supply planning teams
- Lead by example and develop a global SIOP process and team
- Collaborate and influence peers and senior leadership on strategy and execution
- Interface with Supply Chain professionals across the world to raise our game
- Collaborate with sales and product line managers to improve revenue and inventory forecasting
- Work within a mixed MRP/Lean environment

What You Will Do
- Lead a 5 step global SIOP process to include revenue, demand and inventory forecasting for a rolling 18 month forecast in a make to order environment,while collaborating across all functions to drive OTD improvements and inventory optimization
- Lead a very collaborative and team-based service approach while exuding excellent negotiation skills and business acumen
- Effectively present information and lead change to stakeholders globally
- Communicate and influence stakeholders and partners (e.g., Sales, Product Line Managers, etc.) at various levels and across functions within the organization
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) of ERP systems and logic, specifically demand forecasting, capacity modeling, inventory forecasting and simulation modules
- Demonstrate a track record to deliver results of inventory and past due reduction while increasing customer OTD
- Be a change leader who can lead and develop teams while influencing without authority
- Identify opportunities/threats and develop and execute strategic and tactical business plans to mitigate
- Exercise superior analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly grasp and interpret information pertinent to the growth of the organization
- Lead demand teams using forecast accuracy and bias, using statistical data to drive improved customer forecast accuracy and optimized inventory
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress
- Embrace change with enthusiasm
- Strive to learn about and understand the needs of customers and take action with great speed and efficiency no matter the task
- Analyze data, identify trends, and create reports which accurately reflect the state of the business
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
- Prior experience working in a low volume / high mix business where build to forecast is common
- 10+ years of experience in demand and production control planning
- SIOP certification preferred
- Six Sigma and Lean certification/experience a plus
- APICS certification preferred
- Change Management/ADKAR training
- Superb change management, communication, advanced presentation, and leadership skills
- Bilingual Spanish and English, ability to also speak Mandarin a plus
- Excellent data analytics skills
- Ability to use an MRP system
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel (formula / Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, and SharePoint
- Up to 25% global travel (Able to travel to Mexico, USA, Europe, Asia)
Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $170,000 - $205,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package.
