Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our premier team; Security and Intelligence Subject Matter Expert at Langley, AFB, VA. This position will facilitate the daily execution of Large Force Employment (LFE) and Small Team events for the Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), Distributed Training Center (DTC)

Essential Job Functions of this Position:

The Security and Intelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide an in-depth understanding of the operational intelligence domain for applying air power. The SME will provide intelligence expertise necessary to effectively coordinate, plan, and lead the execution of Large Force Employment DMO missions. The expertise provided will provide in-depth mission detail which allows the warfighters to execute missions with minimal input; thereby maximizing RAP training effectiveness. Additionally, this SME will be responsible for overseeing the security and IT portions of daily DMO LFE execution. The SME act as the DTC Information System Security Officer (ISSO) will assist in all aspects of security at the ACC DTC located at Langley, AFB (with direction and/or support from the Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) as well as the Northrop Grumman DMT O&I Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO), and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).

The SME with assist the Facility Manager in all facets of the DTC ISSO responsibilities to include:

a. Conduct or validate audits.

b. Ensure personnel are following procedures as outlined in the SSP.

c. Review/Implement Information Assurance Standard Operating Procedures (IASOP)

d. Ensure initial and annual AIS training is conducted for all DTC personnel.

e. Report AIS violations to the GSSO/CPSO.

f. May be assigned as primary/alternate System Administrator.

g. Assist with the maintenance of all Risk Management Framework (RMF) functions within the DTC

Additional duties may include:

Candidate may provide consulting expertise to military and/or defense clients to develop and evaluate military training and doctrine. Candidate may provide specialized planning and/or execution expertise in specialized phases of military training exercises--including doctrinal development, scenario development, and after action review and analysis.

Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
High school diploma or GED and ten (10) years of Operational Intelligence experience is required. Eight (8) years of collateral security management experience is also required. Must be experienced in drafting and implementing Joint Security Implementation Guide (JSIG), SSP across classified networks. Must also have experience with CAF DMO exercises and simulation. Intel Weapons School graduate is desired. Qualified candidate must possess a Security + certification or be able to obtain one within six months of the start date.

Candidates must have a current Top Secret clearance with SCI and a current CI Poly.
