TITLE: Regional Sales Manager

LOCATION:Midwest or Northeast US, Remote (home office)

SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, the America's, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for Spellman's sales in the designated region. The Regional Sales Manager will achieve sales objectives by executing sales strategies for markets defined by or in collaboration with the Director of Sales. Executing these sales directly or through regional representatives will be the main function of the position and implementing appropriate tactics in order to achieve sales targets will be an integral part of the responsibilities. This is key position with a dynamic organization in a major territory.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (EE, Physics, etc).
  • 5 years minimum experience in OEM sales of highly engineered, electronic equipment to a sophisticated, high tech customer base.
  • Experience with power conversion equipment a plus.
  • Persistent sales person with good managerial/ interpersonal skills; builds strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills.
  • Excellent understanding of sales techniques and customer service principles and the ability to apply these principles in the field.
  • A thorough understanding of sales management.
  • Interest and ability to travel up to 50% - 75% of time, mostly within assigned region.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office applications, e-mail, and customer contact/reporting systems, etc.
  • Ability to work independently as well as contribute to a team of professionals.
  • Ability to respond to urgent situations appropriately by prioritization and customer focus
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism in all correspondence and business-related activities.
  • Contribute to strategic business plans including budgets, forecasts and sales activities.
  • Promote Company's products and capabilities to regional customers.
  • Represent the Company in a professional and fully ethical manner.
  • Develop and execute effective strategies to achieve regional revenue forecasts and targets.


Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package.
