Vision's Security Practice is a full-service electronic security systems integrator focused on commercial customers and facilities. Vision provides security solutions and services including design, installation, service, maintenance, and managed services to key industries across the United States. Vision's security teams design, deploy, and maintain various security systems including access control, video, intrusion detection, visitor management, and two-way audio.
The Security Operations Coordinator is a key position to assist in carrying out the organization's field delivery strategy. Specifically, they are in direct support of the field Operations Manager and delivery teams. This is a mission critical position to ensure the critical path items required to deliver a project are effectively coordinated across multiple projects and teammates.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Security Operations Manager with the day-to-day operations of the field delivery teams.
- Manages and monitors labor forecasting tools and reports.
- Maintains and monitors labor schedules, timecards, and utilization reports for all field delivery team members.
- Manages the onboarding and continuing education programs of field delivery team members.
- Manages travel and site coordination requirements for all field delivery team members.
- Assists with internal coordination of uniforms, PPE, tools, equipment, vehicles, and other items required for the field delivery teammates.
- Maintaining team member certification and licensing database.
- Responsible for coordinating all field delivery team member employee training and events.
- Maintain field team member contact information.
- Assist with managing partnership relationships with key subcontractors.
- Supports other coordination duties as required by the Operations Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- College degree or AA preferred.
- Experience with field operations in construction environments and/or with end-user customers.
- Low-voltage installation or field service experience is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with multiple projects and with competing deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Budget management experience is preferred.
- Experience with planning, organizing, and/or managing team members.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (specifically MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- High-level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
