Summary

Redwire is looking for an experienced Contractor - Sr Financial Process Analyst to join our team!

The Contractor - Senior Financial Process Analyst will be responsible for review and documentation of current processes and coordinating these efforts into implementation of SOX controls as part of an overall SOX readiness project. The candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between finance and technology and identifying process improvement opportunities in the current ERPs and as part of the ERP implementation team. The successful candidate is a professional who is results-oriented, a proven problem-solver through critical thinking and creativity, and highly adaptable to change.

The position will provide many opportunities to drive financial process innovation and will provide exposure to many facets of company operations which impact corporate financial processing and reporting. This is a temporary position for up to 6 months.

Responsibilities
  • Work with functional stakeholders in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training for development of SOX controls, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in the business system implementation teams including design, functional testing, and data validation to ensure quality solutions and ensure that all financial modules are meeting organizational needs and control requirements
  • Assist with financial system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with control environment
  • Provide system support and training users across the enterprise
  • Work closely with the financial leadership teams on solutioning various issues


Ideal Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Information Systems, or equivalent financials degree with relevant experience
  • 4 years' experience in Accounting, Finance or MIS
  • Experience in a SOX compliant environment or implementing SOX controls
  • Experience with various financial systems and reporting platforms such as Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Oracle EPM Cloud for Planning and Budgeting
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Understanding of various areas of accounting to include the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting, inter-company eliminations, and consolidation accounting under GAAP
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership skills to coordinate activities and drive results
  • Ability to collaborate with a group of experienced diverse professionals


Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of Government Contracting to include the FAR and CAS
  • Experience with reporting tools and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with project planning tools like Asana
