Essential Job Functions of this Position:
The Junior Program Security Analyst will perform tasks under supervision and will use subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. This includes preparing presentations, reports, studies and documentation. The individual will select from alternative methods and refer problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Typical duties include:
- Provides support in multiple security disciplines: information, personnel, industrial, operations, physical, and communications
- Maintain task list for multiple person team assignments to adhere to schedules and deadlines.
- Provide updates to security training briefs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide training and assistance on security issues in compliance with policy.
- Ensure protection of controlled unclassified information (CUI) by giving guidance and training on PKI and encrypting emails and classified Military information (CMI).
- Properly protect classified material and containers to include inventory.
- Review statements of work and other requirement documentation as deemed necessary for appropriate security language.
- Report and/or investigate from identification thru completion of electronic spillages.
Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of general experience in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline is required. Prior experience should include the collection, completion, organization, and interpretation of technical data and financial information relating to acquisition and production programs. Additional qualifications should include:
- An active Secret clearance is highly desired; must have at least the ability to obtain and maintain an active Security clearance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience or an understanding of security procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to interface with all levels of management
- Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to work well independently or in a team setting.
