The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the execution of outbound and/ or inbound activities such as picking, packing and goods in management. As a warehouse Associate you make sure all orders are processed in the right way and on time using the available resources. We use hand scanners and SAP to process the orders so experience in that field is highly appreciated.
Key activities
Inbound
- Process the inbound orders (STO & PO) administratively and physically
- Organize the put away process (right location, right quantity)
Outbound
- Process the outbound orders (delivery/ TO) administratively and physically
- Pick & pack the goods according to instructions
- Using a hand scanner and based on the printed TO
- Using the right packaging and packing materials
General
- Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
- Ensure a clean and hazard free work environment
- Appropriate weight distribution & stacking patterns on
- pallets (outbound) and racking (inbound)
Minimum requirements for this role:
- VMBO level
- 2 years working experience in a Warehouse or Logistics
- Forklift certificate
- Reach truck certificate
- VOG certificate required
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Team player and flexible
- Physically strong
- Works well with details
- Hands on mentality and high adaptivity to changes
- Great in organizing workflow
- Accurate
- MS Office experience and ERP Systems (SAP)
- good knowledge of Dutch and English
