Trainers and Fleet Support Program Analyst

Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our premier team; Trainers and Fleet Support Program Analyst. This position provides program analysis expertise for an ACAT 1 NAVAIR program that is driving requirements definition, resource allocation, acquisition and logistics support for TACAIR and/or UAV platforms. The right team member will become part of a long standing, well respected and growing team with a history of leveraging experience and developing newcomers to defense acquisition at Patuxent River NAS.

Essential Job Functions of this Position:
  • Provide acquisition and program management expertise for ACAT 1 DoD Weapon System
  • Provide contracting support to Tactical Aviation training and Fleet support events
  • Coordinate with Fleet for training products and events required to maintain Fleet readiness requirements
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage Fleet training events
  • Participate as a member of and/or support DoD IPT Trainer and Fleet Support Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and IPT directed technical and business meetingsDevelop and execute annual spend plans, Statements of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
  • Manage, track, and update Program Management Tool (PMT)
  • Travel as required to support customer requirements

Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical or business discipline and two (2) years of demonstrated experience supporting major weapon system development/acquisition, procurement processes (i.e. Statements of Work, basis of estimates, CDRLs and Procurement Initiation Documentation) are required. Should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills commensurate with a technical and facilitator role and proficiency with MS Office Suite. Naval TACAIR experience is highly desired.

Should have an active Top-Secret security clearance. An active Secret clearance with Top-Secret eligibility may be considered for otherwise well qualified candidates.
