Primary Duties

A Director, EcoSys Configuration & Solution Architect is responsible for providing client-facing consulting services to improve capital project delivery through their application of technology. This includes the responsibility for the day-to-day project delivery and management activities to support needs assessments, system selection, requirements definition, system implementation, go-live and post go-live support. In this role, you will look for new, different, and innovative ways to leverage existing and new product capabilities to improve performance, improve business results, and create commitment within client organizations - pushing the boundaries and capabilities of our integrated delivery teams. Tasks may include :

Requirement Gathering
  • Facilitate and determine customer requirements and objectives by analyzing business processes, reviewing artifacts, and leading focused requirements workshops
  • Design solutions to meet customer requirements through requirement analysis, development of business rules, development of business process diagrams, development of use cases, and drafting of specifications

Process Evaluations
  • Conduct business process assessments and development of business processes for the successful execution and management of large capital projects
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Project Management processes and / or PMIS (including project management, cost management, risk management, schedule management, resource management, and estimating)

Management, Communications & Presentations
  • Build relationships with all appropriate stakeholders and key leads in various areas to ensure overall project success
  • Leverage personal and collective team subject matter expertise to drive best practice-based solutions
  • Manage teams of consultants in support of the configuration of EcoSys
  • Mentor, coach, and train Consultants and Senior Consultants
  • Assess talent (Internal and External) and provides feedback to management

Implementation &Training
  • Provide Functional Solution Architecture for Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)
  • Create and enable reinforcement mechanism and measurement metrics to ensure sustainability
  • Contribute to the development of test cases, training materials, and other content required to ensure successful solution adoption
  • Develop engagement specific approaches to Training and Organizational Change Management

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or another related field
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in the construction industry (either in Project Delivery or Technology Implementations) or a related profession
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience designing, configuring and implementing Hexagon EcoSys - preferably with experience as a Solution Architect
  • Excellent communication, mathematical and organizational skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word and MS Teams
  • Must be willing to travel to client sites and FTI offices
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Skills
  • Experience and training with the following industry solutions:
    • Hexagon SmartPlant, SDx Projects & Operations, J5
    • Kahua
    • Oracle Unifier, Aconex, Primavera P6
    • Procore
  • Multilingual Spanish, Portuguese (written and verbal)
  • Experience with software development in Java, C#, SQL, and/or VBA
  • Experience in business development activities
  • Able to delegate and supervise the work of others
  • Experience in the consulting industry with track record in building and maintaining client relationship
