Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for an upcoming position for our premier team; Senior Systems Specialist located in Patuxent River, MD in support of the NAVAIR Systems Engineering Department Air 4.1 Specialty Engineering.

Job Background:

The Systems Engineering Department (AIR-4.1) requires systems specialty engineering and technical efforts to be performed in the following specialty engineering functional areas: Air/Ship Integration, Systems Safety, Mass

Properties, Survivability, Manufacturing & Quality, Air Platform Stores Integration, Metrology and Systems

Security Engineering. These efforts are focused across a broad business base comprised of Integrated Program

Teams (IPT's), Externally Directed Teams (EDT's) and Enterprise Teams (ET's), which support all Naval Air

Programs.

The mission of AIR-4.1 is to apply systems engineering knowledge and skills to provide support to Program

Executive Offices (PEOs) and Program Manager, Air (PMAs) by providing assessments of Aircraft, Weapon and

Integrated Systems' technical performance, mission suitability and associated acquisition risks throughout the full

acquisition process and life cycle of a program.

Essential Job Functions of this Position:

The Senior Systems Specialist will review technical problems; provide solutions for software, hardware and systems; and troubleshoot operating anomalies using data review methodologies and/or automated evaluation programs. The Senior Systems Specialist also analyze data and solves problems; communicate with peers, subordinates and senior management; and identify objects, actions and events affecting organizational operations.

Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
Associate's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related scientific discipline and ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of recently and relevant technical experience in an engineering position, to include a comprehensive knowledge of specific systems is required. Bachelor's degree is desired.

An active Secret security clearance is required.
