PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Contracts and Acquisitions (C&A) directorate provides all contract management, export control, purchasing, subcontracting, receiving, warehousing, distribution, and transportation services in support of the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR) operations including NCI-Bethesda, National Institute of Allergy, and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and other institutes.
KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to facility users, as the administrator for the Leidos Biomedical Wireless program (i.e. mobile phones, tablets, WIFI service). Provides technical support and application maintenance, validating and testing wireless workflow. Provides trainingto staff using the LeidosBiomedical ERP Systems. This position reportsto the Acquisition Business Operations Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ordering wireless devices from contracted vendors
- Maintenance of wireless accounts to include international services, separations, and wireless device returns
- Maintaining accurate files for each wireless device in OnBase
- Developing innovative solutions for operational and strategic change
- Responsible for maintaining training materials and documentation
- Assists in Policy and Procedural tracking through updates of Wireless program
- Liaison between Leidos Corporate and Leidos Biomedical Research for DNBi access request for Acquisition staff
- Liaison for separations/terminations for HR
- Assists Acquisition Business Operations Analyst IV and Manager with varying tasks within the directorate and works as Liaison with other directorates
- Performs other related duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university according to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a related field (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education). Foreign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency
- Ability to independently prioritize and complete multiple tasks/projects on time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis techniques
- Ability to work as a strong contributor in a team environment and able to interact with all levels of management and staff
- Comfortable with leading meetings and designing presentations in PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
- Experience working with Costpoint, Cognos, SharePoint, and Hyland OnBase
- Experience working in a government contracting environment
