At Prometric, we strongly believe in hands-on and experiential learning. That's why we offer a 10-week paid internship program for rising seniors, where students get to work closely with business leaders on real work-related projects.The Internship will begin on June 5, 2023 and end on August 11, 2023.
You will participate in a Prometric Onboarding during the first week of your internship. This training program will expose you to our culture and provide you with a knowledge base to draw upon throughout the remainder of your internship and beyond. You will be part of a broader community of international interns within Prometric. You will be provided an opportunity to network and engage with the Prometric Senior Management Team (SMT).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prometric'scutting-edge technology department is seeking a software development intern for the summer. The development intern will assist mid to senior-level developers with ongoing projects across a variety of technological solutions enablingPrometric'sglobal business. He/she will be exposed to the day-to-day activities of a professional software developer, and will be expected to participate in an active capacity, providing the intern with both experience and insight, which will be an asset for the intern to pursue an active career in technology after finishing his/her course of study.
- Assist the software development team with activities such as design, programming, unit testing, design and code reviews
- Actively participate in agile development processes related to ongoing projects
- Explore new technologies and apply learning towards the creation of technological solutions
- Produce technical documentation in support of relevant software systems and processes
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Current Juniors who will be rising Seniors in the summer of 2023
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Pursuing a degree in a related field
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
- Attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Interest in learning new thing
