About the role:

The Risk and Compliance Analyst will be a member of FTI's Risk and Compliance team within the Legal department. In this new role, you will support a wide range of compliance, risk, and corporate ethics-related program initiatives across the Company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the growing field of corporate risk, governance, compliance, and business ethics.

The role will report into the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, based in Washington, DC, but will work closely with other members of the Legal and Compliance team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the provision of first-class risk and compliance advice to our internal clients which include the senior management of the business. You will also be involved in working with other internal corporate functions such as HR and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities will be the following:
  • Legal , Risk & Compliance :
    • Support code of business conduct and ethics and hotline maintenance, and compliance training and awareness communications coordination;
    • Assist with compliance-related functions including drafting, organization and documentation tasks associated with a wide range of subjects such as privacy law, sanctions regulations, anti-bribery rules, and securities trading protocols;
    • Additional responsibilities as assigned (e.g., risk assessments, benchmarking research, assistance with client questionnaires, and other projects to support risk and compliance function operations);
    • Provide technical first line advice and support to managers and employees on any basic operational issues within your scope of responsibilities and ensure the advice is in line with legislation and company policy in order to minimize any risk.

  • Administrative:
    • Undertaking of all duties of a clerical and administrative nature as required;
    • Maintenance of appropriate files and filing systems;
    • Setting up new systems as necessary to improve the efficiency of the administration of the Risk and Compliance team.

Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in compliance, legal, internal audit or related field. Additional related experience or education may be considered
  • Some knowledge of laws, regulations and compliance obligations of multinational and/or public companies
  • LPEC, CCEP or other recognized ethics and compliance-related certification or willingness to obtain and maintain one is preferred
