Program Analyst

Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our premier team; Program Analyst. This position provides program analysis expertise for an ACAT 1 NAVAIR program that is driving requirements definition, resource allocation, acquisition and logistics support for TAVAIR and/or UAV platform. The right candidate will become part of a long standing, well respected and growing team with a history of leveraging experience and developing newcomers to defense acquisition at Patuxent River NAS.

Essential Job Functions of this Position:
  • Provide acquisition and program management expertise for ACAT 1 DoD Weapon System
  • Support development, management, and execute of contracts
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage development and procurement acquisition milestones
  • Manage, track, and update Program Management Tool (PMT)
  • Provide expert contracting support to include development of Procurement Initiation Documents, Statements of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs)
  • Support NAVAIR IPTs with analysis of product requirements, cost, and schedule requirements.
  • Support NAVAIR IPTs with ensuring product performance and sustainment requirements comply with NAVAIR technical and logistics requirements.
  • Travel as required to support customer requirements


Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline and two (2) years of demonstrated experience supporting major weapon system development/acquisition, and working with statements of work, basis of estimates, CDRLs and in support of contract negotiations is required. High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of related experience may substitute in lieu of the degree requirement. Candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills commensurate with a technical and facilitator role. Should also be proficient with MS Office Suite.

Should have an active Top-Secret security clearance. An active Secret clearance with Top-Secret eligibility may be considered for otherwise well qualified candidates.
