Practice Coordinator l Economic Consulting (hybrid)

About the Role

Practice Coordinator is dedicated to providing essential administrative assistance including but not limited to marketing, business development, practice operations project management, and overall support to the team. Additionally, this individual would work closely with senior leadership in driving the execution of key initiatives and internal processes across a rapidly growing practice.

Responsibilities include supporting the senior leadership team with engagement staffing, new hire onboarding, management and execution of client administration, including pursuits and new client tracking in FTI's CRM system; and collaborating with the team and other FTI teams to execute on practice initiatives, including internal and external event planning and support, as well as updating and archiving practice resources.

What You'll Do

Primary Duties
  • Serve as the main point of contact to senior leadership to drive initiatives and day-to-day processes as prioritized by the leadership team.
  • Develop and monitor key team metrics, e.g. utilization, AR, unbilled WIP, etc.
  • Serve as key liaison among team staffing coordinator, leadership and jr. staff to assist with engagement staffing to help balance engagement team effectiveness with team member development requirements
  • Gatekeeper for application licenses for team toolset, e.g. Insiten platform, SmartSheet
  • Create and proofread business development and team specific marketing materials, including pitch materials.
  • Manage P&R Knowledge Management and maintain SharePoint repository of materials for business development, engagements, and other purposes.
  • Collaborate with On-Campus and Experienced Hire Recruiting Teams to coordinate recruiting activities and onboarding of new team members.
  • Track pursuits and perform new clients set up activities, from managing Salesforce entries to drafting engagement letters.
  • Manage and create as needed practice documentation, including professional biographies, qualifications, pitch materials, engagement documentation, and thought leadership.

Other Administrative duties
  • Assist and coordinate team travel arrangements, changes, and logistics
  • Assist with management team expense reports
  • Assist with meeting planning, scheduling and coordination for senior leadership
  • Prepare invoices
  • Assist with the maintenance of contact lists and client outreach plans

Business Development
  • Lead internal communications surrounding business development initiatives, including tracking all collateral requested and provided.
  • Assist with the creation copy and design for proposal documents and materials.
  • Support with the creation of thought leadership and , RFPs .
  • Manage the collection and loading of content to SharePoint including maintaining organized files for internal sharing and updating.

Practice Support
  • Lead practice-wide client administration, including new client set up and tracking of agreements with clients.
  • Support leadership in the planning and development of internal practice group meetings, as well as client events.
  • Identify internal communication opportunities (including internal presentations and trainings at the local office or practice level) to further promote practice locally and regionally.
  • Work to ensure quality professional product and delivery of all work within established timeframes.
  • Make recommendations and work with management to develop procedures, processes, and workflow to ensure maximum efficiency.

Basic Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of related project management experience within professional services or related industry
  • Travel required to clients and to FTI offices(s)
  • COVID Vaccine required*

  • Decisiveness and excellent use of independent judgment as well as the ability to continuously prioritize among multiple obligations and/or deliverables
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or related platforms, and Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, MSWord, and SharePoint
  • Strong communication skills, including listening, verbal and written
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Must be able to interact, communicate and collaborate with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Exceptional proofreading skills and attention to detail are required
  • Contribute to editorial review of work product, including especially expert reports
  • Strong preference for candidates familiar with general concepts related to Corporate Finance
